New Law requires higher liability limits

Direct Link to Post

Effective May of 2008, Texas law will now required higher limits of liability for Bodily Injury and Property Damage.  Currently, the minimum required to operate a motor vehicle on Texas Highways is $20,000 per person, $40,000 per accident for Bodily Injury and $15,000 per accident for Property Damage (20/40/15).  The new law will require Texas motorists to carry 25/50/25.  If you were carrying minimum limits on your policy, effective on your renewal, your limits will be automatically raised to meet the required amounts.
